This waterfall, also known as the “Pearl of the Curvature Carpathians”, impresses with its crystal clear waterfalls and the unique natural landscapes around it. The Urlătoarea Waterfall is located in the town of Vama Buzăului, Brașov County, just 3 km from the Valea Zimbrilor Nature Reserve, in the Ciucaș Mountains, approximately 40 km from the city of Brașov and less than 10 km from Sita Buzăului. Although there is a forest road to the waterfall, access by car is prohibited (and I am very happy about the rule), so you will have to park here (free parking) and walk for 1.5 km.

The waterfall is located at the foot of the Ciucaș Mountains, in a protected area, recognized for its natural diversity. The waterfall is approximately 15 meters high, and the sound of the water flowing over the rocks creates a relaxing and invigorating atmosphere, hence the name "Urlătoarea".
