The Stirbey Castle Café is perfect for every afternoon when you want to gaze at the blue sky raised by the centuries-old trees that stand guard over the castle. The café terrace, located on the castle balcony, will offer you a moment of relaxation at any time and a look at the inner garden that hid the footsteps of the knights and where you can still hear the hooves of horses. Museum

The summer residence of Alina Stirbey and General Emanuel Florescu remains known today as the oldest civil building in the city of Sinaia, it was built at the request of the daughter of Prince Barbu Bibescu-Stirbey. Stirbey Castle is the work of the Dutch architect Josef Jacob Schieffleers, who masterfully manages to create a true castle within whose walls the secrets, betrayals and great loves of the great prince's family are still preserved today. Today, Stirbey Castle hosts the Sinaia City Museum, which consists of 13 thematic rooms that invite you to discover the secrets of the city. Museum rooms History of the city The Sinaia we know today is the work of architects from all over Europe who managed to build a German burg in the heart of the Carpathians, thus Sinaia developed around the Monastery that bears the name of the Holy Mountain. The aristocrats of the late 19th and early 20th centuries decided to establish their summer residence in the city that would proudly bear the title of Pearl of the Carpathians for more than a century. In the center of the hall presenting the history of the city, a model that presents in pastels the small European city at the gates of the Orient reigns supreme. Stirbey Castle has 14 accommodation places arranged in 6 rooms decorated in Art-Deco style. Each room has its own style and offers peace and relaxation right in the center of Sinaia. The rooms are equipped with a TV and a private bathroom.
