I visited the reserve, out of curiosity because I had never seen bison before, and I found a clean and well-organized place. The reserve is located in Acris, on the main road from where you enter the parking lot after paying the parking and visiting fees. The parking lot is quite generous, if not crowded, because to my surprise, people come in large numbers to visit. The reserve is carefully arranged to ensure the comfort of visitors. Immediately at the entrance, there is an area with parking and various huts that sell drinks, snacks and local dishes. Inside, there are shaded resting places available, with benches and gazebos equipped with swings, where you can sit down to contemplate nature and wait for the bison to appear. For families with children, another point of interest is the specially arranged playground. Before leaving the premises, visitors can also explore a small exhibition where stuffed animals are presented, thus completing the educational aspect of the visit. The visit consists of a leisurely walk around the main enclosure and the secondary ones where you can admire different species of animals and birds (bison, European mouflon, peacock, etc.). The emphasis is on RELAXATION.

is a natural reserve of bison (Bison bonasus) located in the commune of Vama Buzăului, Brașov County, Romania. In 2019, the reserve was one of four bison reserves in Romania. The Valea Zimbrilor bison reserve was inaugurated in November 2008, on an area of ​​9 hectares and with three bison feeding sites. In order to comply with European norms, the reserve will eventually have an area of ​​92 ha, of which 80 ha of forest and 12 ha of pasture. In 2009, the reserve was populated with five bison, four adults and one calf, received free of charge from three zoos abroad. The five specimens came from Switzerland (2), Italy (1) and Austria (2). 6 bison specimens were released from Buzău Customs, the last two leaving the reserve in April 2019 to be released within the Vânători Neamț National Park, the area also known as "Bison Land (see Bison Reserve - Neamț).
